Rooney became England's all-time record goalscorer last month, overtaking Sir Bobby Charlton's long-standing tally that had stood for almost half a century.
The striker could well surpass Charlton as Old Trafford's top scorer by the end of the season, too - Rooney currently trails the World Cup 1966 winner by 14 goals at Manchester United.
