
It is pay back time as Cameroonians are fighting back the Boko Haram sect.60 Boko Haramhave been reportedly killed by theCameroon army. The Cameroon state radio reported that the country’s military has killed at least 60 Boko Haram members who crossed over from Nigeria seeking refuge.
The Boko Haram members reportedly killed in Cameroon, crossed over from Borno State, they were ambushed by the soilders and then killed.
The troops were handy thanks toFonka Awah,the governor of the far north region of Cameroon who said his office had received information that some Boko Haram members might be hiding in Cameroonian villages, and asked for specialized troops to be deployed.
Last month, Cameroon and Chad declared war on the Boko Haram sect and has deployed 2,000 troops along its border with Nigeria.
